Laura Day, RD
(she/her/hers)

Colorado Springs, CO

Laura is a registered dietitian who values the emotional, social, and cultural significance of food in our lives. Utilizing a weight-inclusive approach, she works to support her clients on their journeys of improving relationships with their bodies and food. Her goal is to support you in discovering the peace that can come with freedom from food rules and restrictions. Laura is dedicated to hearing and understanding your story and experiences, and to exploring strategies together for overcoming obstacles and developing sustainable approaches to nutrition that are most compatible with your life.

Laura has worked as a clinical dietitian in an inpatient mental health setting and is an advocate for increased accessibility to needed resources, patients’ rights, and informed care. Her passion for providing nutrition counseling with a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach for disordered eating, eating disorders, sports nutrition, medical nutrition, and body image, was partially sparked during her time as an athlete and coach when she identified the need for sports to actively foster weight-inclusive environments.

In her free time, Laura enjoys taking care of her plant collection, being overly ambitious about home improvement projects, watching a good tv show with popcorn, and soaking up the Colorado sun while watching birds with her cat fur babies, Thoreau and Stegs.
